Friðheimar Winebar is a bar and workspace located in one of our oldest greenhouses on the Friðheimar estate. Here, you can enjoy a quality glass of wine or a light meal, meet friends, read a book, or get some work done. You are warmly welcome, with no need to book in advance.
At the Winebar, we offer three fully-equipped meeting rooms, ideal for meetings and workshops for workplaces and smaller groups (maximum 22 people). Bookings can be made through [email protected]

Jazz concerts with Marína Ósk and Ragnar
Admission to the concert is free, and we recommend to take the opportunity and grab a light meal and drinks beforehand! The concerts start at 8:00 PM but the venue is open earlier.

Marína Ósk and Ragnar Ólafsson have made their mark on the Icelandic music scene, but now they’re stepping out of their usual routines in music and carving a new path.
Marína Ósk has become an important figure in the Icelandic jazz scene in recent years, known for her remarkable vocal range as well as beautiful songwriting, while Ragnar has made a name for himself in rock and gained incredible popularity abroad with his band Árstíðir.
Both have new albums in the works and it so happens that the anticipated releases of both could fit under the hat of singer-songwriter music; a musical style neither of them is particularly known for composing or performing. In this concert series, they will perform each other’s music.
Ragnar and Marína bring different works to the stage but unite in the realm of storytelling and sincerity. They express themselves in different ways through music and have their own style, creating a unique concert experience. As Ragnar and Marína are both serious about their stage presence, there will be no shortage of entertaining stories, sincerity, delicate interplay, and good connections with the audience. Joining them on the journey will be guitarist and producer Kjartan Baldursson. Together, the trio forms a band that will oversee the entire musical performance on the journey.

Lay Low concerts in Vínstofa Friðheima
We proudly introduce Lay Low, who will fill the house with her magnificent music on May 18th at 8:00 PM.
The concert starts at 8:00 PM, but the venue is open earlier.
It is necessary to book tickets and tables in advance, and it’s ideal to take the opportunity to get a light meal and drinks before the concert.
The winebar opens at 1:00 PM, and the kitchen closes at 8:00 PM. Limited seating available, so make sure to get your tickets early!
